Hey,

I built this PC back in 2013 and the PSU died sometime last year, I have only recently got a new PSU and when trying to boot the system bluescreened, turned off instantly, didn't see the error code. Now when I booted it up next it went through disk repair, took like an hour or so. But now when I turn the system on it goes through the boot process until it gets to the Windows welcome screen, after that it comes up with a black screen with the cursor which can be moved.

I have tried booting in to repair mode by spamming the F8 key but it requires an admin password which I do not remember.

Is there are way to either reset the password or factory restore the system?

Sorry for the slow reply - I have been away for a few days.

We cannot assist with passwords - sorry.

If you built the machine surely you have the disk with the OS on it ?

You can use this to re-install.

If you take the Hard-Drive out and connect it up to another machine - can you access the disk ?

There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!
