RustyKnight Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 A friend has a problem with her Windows 7 desktop, she said "the bar at the bottom keeps going white instead of blue". Apparently her task bar goes that that ancient Windows 98 appearance and all her windows look weird. She did a system restore and it was fine until Windows updated then it went wrong again. Is there an easy fix? I searched online but couldn't find anything more recent than 2012. ExTS Admin Starbuck Posted September 5, 2017 ExTS Admin Posted September 5, 2017 Hi RK, A lot of Win7 users had a problem where the system seemed stuck in the 'Classic theme'. This could well be the same problem. I searched online but couldn't find anything more recent than 2012. Date is immaterial really. Win7 came out in 2009 ..... so most problems on the 'net' will probably be dated between then and 2012 ( when Win8 came out ) Take a look at this and see if it helps.
