[Solved] User Profile Service notification on my computer!

Hi all,

 

My computer was working fine last night but when I came to log on to my normal user account this morning I am getting this message below and i can't get any further!

 

"The User Profile Service service failed the Logon.

User profile cannot be loaded".

 

I had already created another user account with administrator powers so that I could always get on to my computer and I have used this today by taking the password off my normal user account thinking that was the problem but unfortunately it wasn't! I have tried switching the computer off and on again but to no avail.

 

I would really appreciate some help on this matter please.

It's not unusual to get a corrupt user account.

This can happen for a variety of reasons.

WOW! I am a very happy chappy to be fair, Firstly a massive thank you to you Starbuck, and a pat on my back for me as I am not one of those computer whizz kids but I have managed to fix my user account on the links that you gave me!
