AMD Athlon xp 2400+, 2.01ghz, 480mb of RAM Motherboard : MS-6390 (v3x) The user guide says I can upgrade the memory to a max of 2gb in any combination of PC2100 184 pin DDR SDRAM 266MHZ .....(2.5v) My problem is that it wont let me, I purchased 2x 512mhz PC2100 184 pin DDR SDRAM 266MHZ .....(2.5v), installed correctly & checked, then all I get is an audible alarm & the PC won't boot up.... Can you please help, I've down loaded the Motherboard User guide all 3 versions & followed the steps....... still won't work Thanks for listening..... yankee34 Quote We are all members helping other members.
