Yesterday I used windows 10 burner to burn somwe photo's on a Verbitem DVD to play in a dvd player. When I attempted to play them in my dad's dvd player the first photo came up but all the rest didn't. A notice coming up said error.

Did I do something wrong? I didn't choose usb, but chose CD/DVD section when burning. This is frustrating, I'm not technically minded. I could see the photo's tiled on the TV screen, but they wouldn't play.

So Now my next question is would one of these photo editing programmes work better?

Sony Vegas

Nero platinum

Many thanks.

Hi Aura and welcome to ExTS

Can you see all of the photos if you try the DVD in the computer where you burned the disk ?

Some DVD players do have problems with disks burned on a home computer.

There is some helpful advice here - How to burn a CD or DVD in Windows 10 (step-by-step)

You could try Ashampoo Burning Software from here - Ashampoo® Burning Studio FREE

You will need to register your email address with them

You will probably get nag screens to buy the Pro version - ignore these if you do decide to install it.

If you want to simply see the photos on your TV screen you can use a HDMI cable direct from your computer to the TV

[ assuming that both have HDMI connections ]

There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!

I can see them on my dad's player. All the squares are numbered but when we try and click on them, the screen goes black and says error.

I did say that some DVD Players have problems with disks burned on home computers.

You didn't answer my original question.

I gave you a link that advised re. burning images.

Was this of any use?

Ashampoo link - have you tried this?

HDMI Lead - presumably this was not of any use ?
