KenB Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 I tried it and I'm still getting the same problem. I find this VERY odd. You have burned a DVD with photos - you get " photo error" You have put the photos on a Memory Stick - you get "photo error" You have used an older DVD and this plays OK Is all of this correct ? If you want to see the photos on the TV there is another option - NOT using the DVD player. You can connect your laptop direct to the TV using an HDMI lead. If your dad has a Sky box or Free Sat box there may be an HDMI cable connecting this to the TV. You can disconnect the cable at the Sky box [ leave connected to TV ] and use this to connect to the laptop. A 2 metre HDMI lead costs about £7 in Tesco. Aura Todd Posted November 8, 2019 Author Posted November 8, 2019 No, one thing is wrong. You have put the photos on a Memory Stick - you get "photo error" I never said that I was asking where the USB might be, I haven't used a memory stick as yet. I'm autistic, so I'm often misunderstood. I tried two discs again , even after finalising them. Quote
KenB Posted November 8, 2019 Posted November 8, 2019 (edited) Take a look at posts 24 to 28 I posted details of USB location - you thanked me for the details. and said you would try my suggestion Post 28 you said - I tried it and I'm still getting the same problem. Then you tell me you haven't used the memory stick [ post 30] ?????? ================================== Try a memory stick. Try the HDMI cable. Let me know the results.
