kikamoocow Posted March 1, 2020 Posted March 1, 2020 (edited) PC goes straight into UEFI. I noticed that the HD is in SATA Information, but is missing from the boot list, thus Windows not loading. Fitted a new power supply. The system is built on an ASUS TUF H310-plus gaming motherboard Edited March 2, 2020 by KenB Quote
KenB Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 Hi and welcome to ExTS Is this a new build or has the system been working previously? Do you only have the one HDD connected? Have you tried moving the SATA cable to a different port on the M-Board Have you tried a different SATA cable ? kikamoocow Posted March 2, 2020 Author Posted March 2, 2020 Thank you for your help. Tried every thing you suggested. It turned out to be UEFI. I disabled UEFI , enabled Legacy/CSM Boot Support and it booted to windows. Thanks again for your help. Quote
