Tony D Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Today I performed my first install of MS Office 2007. The only hard part was getting the plastic package open (that's why I posted this in the Hardware forum). I basically had to rip the package apart. It looks like there are hinges in there for the various sections of the package, It's a plastic package with some rounded corners. What is the trick to opening this new package? Guest Wolfeymole Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 I had a look at Office packaging and it reminds me of a VHS video box, was it shrink wrapped type of thing Kelly as I've never seen one up close and personal? I think we'll stick this in the Off Topic forum also as it's not really a Hardware issue is it? ;) Quote
Seth Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 That's pretty funny Kelly. Reminds me when I tried to open my new Vista package. Quote Need help with your computer problems? Then why not join Free PC Help. Register here If Free PC Help has helped you then please consider a donation. Click here
Guest Wolfeymole Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Yeah well the packaging would probably be worth more than Vista mate. :D Quote
Seth Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Heh heh heh I used Vista for a week and then went back to XP. Kelly, Maybe the case swings open from the side like the Vista case. Guest Wolfeymole Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Take the Money or open the box Lunacy that only Microsoft could get away with. I'll just alter the Rules to allow hacking and cracking tips on the packaging. Quote

AdvancedSetup Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Office 2007 appears to be packaged quite similar so opening it would probably be the same. Though I have an Enterprise version and a Student version and both came in a normal rectangular CD case for me. Quote Need help with your computer problems? Then why not join Free PC Help.
