What is the application that you were writing this with, and does it support

reversion to previous revisions?

In all probability you can *not* do that. But tell us what kind of

file it is and what program you used to edit and save it.

Windows XP only keeps the last version. There may be a way to recreate the

next to last version with whatever program you are using to create and edit

your file. Outside of that possibility, the previous versions of your file

have been overwritten. Hence, they are gone for good.

However, if you really want to always be able to go back, you must save your

work to a new file with a new name every time that you save it.
