Guest S t i n g r a y Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Well i have setup a Terminal Server , but there are some printers Like color desktop deskjet printer that i want to give access to all users connected to terminal Server, now one way is to login on every user desktop & manually set it. Is there a way i can setup these printers system wide? so that who ever logs on can use such printers. thanks

If 2003 R2 you have the ability to deploy printers via group policies. If an older version a logon script could do the job, dependent on the method how you supply the printers (which kind of ports?) and the user rights. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314486 "How to add printers with no user interaction in Windows XP" http://www.computerperformance.co.uk/Logon/LogonScript_Printer.htm "VBS Logon Scripts for Windows Printers" may give you some points about how to realize. Best greetings from Germany Olaf

If it's a network printer, you can deploy it via GPO. Try posting in microsoft.public.windows.terminal_services for more specific information & help.
