Guest gabrtome1@yahoo.de Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Hi folks, How can I send a fax I already sent to someone else without retyping erverything? Here's what I do: I rightclick on the sent fax, ->print, and then I choose the fax console,as printer, which opens the fax console but everything is blank. What am I doing wrong? Thanks. Gabriel

You're posting to the wrong group. This is NOT microsoft.public.windowsxp.general.fax
Guest Gary S. Terhune Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Re: how to forward an already sent fax? You don't keep the original document? Other than as a Sent Fax? My guess is that the program is trying to do two different things at once and it wasn't built to handle that. Short Term Solution -- Highlight and copy the fax, then paste it into an image editing application and save it as a standard JPEG. Then fax that. Long Term solution -- Save the document you're going to fax as a document and then archive that document, maybe even in a folder called faxed documents, instead of destroying it once it's been faxed. The document is going to be smaller to store than a copy of the fax. Note: So you understand, faxing turns whatever is being faxed into a low resolution image. The Sent fax is an image, not the original document. -- Gary S.
