Guest Tim Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 I have Wimdows XP, today I tried to download some pictures from my camera and initially came up with this RunDLL error (there was more of a messge but this is all I remember)and said to report to Microsoft the problem, so I sent thinking I would get the box you could click on to find out what possible problems were causing this and never got it. After that I get this menu camera box up that you pick the program you want to open with and its blank. My camera says there is a connection problem, I then went to pictuers menu--get pictures from camera-- and a message comes up saying computer cannot detect camera. ??? Two weeks ago I took my computer in to get rid of some spyware I had that I could not get rid of, they cleaned all up,had to manually get rid of some and run some programs on the rest, well I thought all was good tilll no got to reading some of these posts and looks like spyware could be a player here with my problem. Any Help??? I also run Adware, Spybot and Spyware Doctor. And Nortons 360. I know this is long but tried explain all, Thanks, Tim
Guest Tim Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 RE: RunDLL error, report to Microsoft Just to info any one out there with that may have this error, I contacted Dell (This is the pc brand I have)technical support on this, they took care of this problem and that of my camera issue. He took over my pc and did some things that I didn't see, anyway all is fixed and everything is running great! (wish I could of understood every thing he said so I could of passed it on but was way over my head). Super support from them.
