Guest sweeneysmsm Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 I have Windows XP Pro on a Dell Dimension 8200. I have had in my possession a Via Video Desktop Conferencing set but was not able to install it until now because I previously had only a dial-up connection. Now I have FIOS. I have installed the hardware and software as instructed but I get a message “Failed to register COM objects.” I did find this URL: http://support.olisystems.com/TIPS/OLI-Tips38%20Re-register%20COM%20Objects.pdf which explains how to reregister COM objects in an OLI product (which is not my product). How do I go about solving MY registration problem? Is this a Windows question or a “Via Video” question? Thank you for any insight provided.

Guest sweeneysmsm Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Re: Failed to register COM objects Hi, Ron. Thank you. I was hoping there was going to be some quick and simple solution, but I guess life is not like that. Will get back to them.
