Items not remaining valid in Favorites list

I use XP Home, SP2, and run IE7. For some reason, when I go to a site that I

want to save in my Favorites list (http://www.google.com, or http://www.worldstart.com, for

example), I do the pulldown from Favorites in the toolbar, and select 'Save

To Favorites'. This seems to work, and I can return to my Favorites list in

my Start menu and click on the site and return there....the problem is, it

seems that after using some of these url's a couple of times, when I click on

them i get a message that says, " The target "" of this Internet Shortcut is

not valid. Go to the Internet Shortcut property sheet and make sure the

target is correct. " I don't know why this occurs, but it is quite

aggravating and frustrating to have to re-search, find the right site again,

then re-add to Favorites, only to have it happen again within the next couple

of days, as they are sites I visit frequently, which is why I saved to

Favorites in the first place... any help here?

If you haven't already, I would ask the question in:
