Guest KCav Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 Why am I beig told to enable Actice X Contros when they are enabled? Guest NotMe Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 Re: I have enabled Active X Controls Do you have a security suite or anti spyware software that is stopping the changes from being saved? Norton Internet Security Suite and many of it's competitors can do that. Spyware Doctor, Spybot Search & Destroy, and many others will prevent changes or require approval. -- A Professional Amateur...If anyone knew it all, none of would be here! I checked Add/Remove Software and I do not have any anti spy software running. -- KC "NotMe" wrote: > Do you have a security suite or anti spyware software that is stopping the > changes from being saved? > Norton Internet Security Suite and many of it's competitors can do that. > Spyware Doctor, Spybot Search & Destroy, and many others will prevent > changes or require approval. > -- > A Professional Amateur...If anyone knew it all, none of would be here! > CarGodZeroOne@hotmail.com > Change Alpha to Numeric to reply > "KCav" <KCav@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:D8745118-2268-4C61-8200-35E6647CAC0D@microsoft.com... > > Why am I beig told to enable Actice X Contros when they are enabled? > > > > I went to IE > Tools> Internet Options > Security tab > Custom Level > > > Active X controls and plug-ins.
