If so, uncheck it and see if that takes care of it. Report back, -- Terry R. ***Reply Note*** Anti-spam measures are included in my email address. Guest RajKohli Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 RE: folder c: opens when system starts, this is not the system 32 fold Open Control Panel - Scheduled Tasks - remove any unwanted entry. If that doesn't work then look in \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\ and delete any unwanted entry. If that doesn't work then look in the registry for it in these places and delete unwanted entries. Modifying the registry cause serious problems to your Windows so have a backup first. Click Start - Run - type REGEDIT HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnceEx HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServicesOnce HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce Even if that fails to then Restore your System to a previous date. Hope this help, let us know!
