Guest Homer Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Hello, I recently reinstalled Front Page on a new notebook. Everything seems to have went well. However, a shortcut to the application was not created on the desktop and I can't find any of the program data in the Microsoft Front Page folder in the Program Files folder. Any suggestions?

I guess you want a Front Page shortcut icon on your desktop? Using Windows Explorer navigate over to the EXE file that launches the application (in this case Front Page). It will probably be c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OfficeXX or close to that. Hold the RIGHT mouse button down and drag the EXE to your desktop. Release the mouse button and a menu will appear, "Create a Shortcut here." Microsoft stopped support for Front Page last year (there are much better web-page building choices).
