Guest otts73 Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 I am having trouble playing mpeg and mpg clips smoothly. The files are stored locally, on the root of C, but the playback is jumpy as if buffering issue. I loaded Cyber Link player just to verify it was not a result of Media Player 11, but the same results surfaced. I then uninstalled the video driver and reinstalled with the same result. My hardware should be up to snuff... 1.7 ghz processor, 2 gb ram, 32MB ATI Radeon 7500 video adaptor, current BIOS update. The OS is XP SP 2. (IBM T-42 Laptop) Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. If I am in the wrong newsgroup, please advise and I will redirect question.
