Today I started on the road to stopping smoking using patches etc.

Wish me luck as I've been smoking for about 35 years.

I smoked for 4 years, but have stopped almost 4 years ago after 3 tries. It is difficult, i know. But its the right choice :)

Thanks Jeb, so far so good, these patches must be pretty good as I haven't had even a craving yet and I was on at least 20 cigs a day.

I've been there myself. I usually quit for about two or three years at a time, then something drastic happens and I pick up the habit again :o

Well i guess i'm lucky that i've stopped for 4 years now and never looked back. But the hardest part is the first month or so.
