Guest Frank Martin Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 As usual the computer automatically downloads security updates, but this time I get the following message. "Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 2.0 (KB928365)" Why does this happen and how can I get around it? Please help, Frank
Guest Wally3178 Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 RE: Security update failed. Hi Frank, I'm getting the same problem. The process initialises and then an attempt is made to instal but a short message 'Failed' appears before I get a box telling me that the installation was not successful. Any solution would be much appreciated. Guest Frank Martin Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 Re: Security update failed. Thanks, I did this and it worked OK though I only downloaded the one with the 14.7Mb size program because this was a similar size to the one that didn't work before. Should I get rid of the old failed program, and if so where can I find it?
