First of all Hi to everyone out there those who are willing to help

and then Hi to all those who are reading this :)

Well ..I have 3 computers at my home, I've installed Windows 2003

Server on the first one and the rest two have Windows 2000 PRO. I

downloaded the Group Policy Common Scenarios from Microsoft web site..

I implemented the taskStation for a group of users who log-in their

account in Windows 2000, I modified that policy a bit to show an HTML

Page as the Desktop background. BUT unfortunately it didn't show up.

What I did was I shared a folder on the Server and added the path "\

\homeserver\wallpaper.html", I tried it with a JPEG image it worked

fine, but then it wasn't working with the HTML page, I checked for

the Active Desktop - it was Enabled. Is there anything I'm missing ?

I also wanted the user profile to remain on their computer, as the

user won't be allowed to use anything except the Internet Explorer. So

it's just like a STATIC profile, where users are allowed to login to

any of the computer on the network - but they are allowed to open only

Internet Explorer.

1 last question, how can I restrict the use of Installed Programs like

- MS Office, PDF etc ? What I mean to say is how can I restrict the

user NOT to use any other program. Because anyone can open Internet

Explorer ...browse the C:\Program Files... and run the program he

wants, plus using the task manager or command prompt anyone can run

programs. However I've managed to disable task Manager and Command

prompt to execute any command except scripts.

I've few more questions.. I would love to ask may be some other

time.!!

Thanks
