Guest Mike Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 Is there a way to find out how an ID locked out? Example I just did a password change on App Pools under IIS, and about 100 batch files, on our servers, If I forgot something and the ID gets locked out due to a bad password, is there a way to find out what locked out the ID? Would that be under the security tab in the event viewer, or can I find that somewhere else on the server?
Guest Jeremy Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 Re: id lock out Install EventCombMT http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=7AF2E69C-91F3-4E63-8629-B999ADDE0B9E&displaylang=en It has a built in search for Account Lockouts. Search all the DCs in your environment and they will tell you which source computer locked out the account.
