I am trying to reload with the e-machine oem disk.

I get to the point where the computer names is entered. I have tried both

options of leaving the name and changing the name.

The computer hangs up at that point.

If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Thanks

The eMachines OEM disk is being reloaded into what? Is it the same,

original motherboard that shipped with these discs or a different

one?

There is a great emachine forum at http://tinyurl.com/tc7j Very helpful

people. You may want to be a little more specific as to the style of

machine and exactly what you are trying to do.

Doesn't really matter, if it was an OEM issue he would have problems either

before or after the point he's at in the installation.

What is the reason for the reinstall to begin with, were you having

problems?
