Guest Old Geaser Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 I have a 2nd computer that is used for my personal weather station. It is on 24/7. I am considering installing the weather station on my main computer. I have experimented with the dual monitor just to see how it works. If I use the 2nd monitor on the main computer for the weather station, can I have the 2nd monitor set to never shut off (I want the weather display on 24/7)and have the main monitor shut down after a set period of time as it does now? Thanks in advance, Bert

However, it is possible that the dual head graphics driver supplied with your card has different functionality, so you will have to RTFM.
Guest Old Geaser Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 Re: Using dual display That is what I had suspected. I will look into the card. After thinking about it, It does not really matter if the weather station monitor goes off. If I am not at the computer to see it, it would not hurt for it to shut down. All I have to do is touch the mouse and it will be back on. The weather information will still be uploaded to the web sites as long as the computer is running.
