Hi Everyone.

I am looking at buying a new graphics card. My PC is a HP touchsmart and the graphics card already installed is a Nvidia Geforce Go 7600. Can anyone give me any advice. How easy are they to install?. I have done a bit of resurch and found that the Nvidia 8800GTX is the next model up? but there are a number of manufacturere that aparantly make the same model and they all mension chip sets etc. I dont realy understand this? Basical I want a better graphics card for Gaming, but are not quite sure which graphics card I can buy and which ones will fit.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

The model number is IQ771.uk. I have had a look on a few websites at the specification, HP Uk in particular and found that this model has a PCIe x16 slot but I would be greatfull if you could check this for me because I dont know an awfull lot about this sort of thing.

Thanks again

Hi

Yes, but it uses an MXM connector. Which means the graphics card you need must have an MXM connector. Here is the motherboard specifications

Hi

These are notebook components, which are difficult to upgrade. You will have to be very carefull or have it installed by a professional. Be carefull not to void the warranty.
