Guest green biro Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 Want to reserve usage of a certain (XP Pro) PC for Management. What is the simplest way to ensure a certain set of domain user can use the PC? Thanks in advance for any helpful suggestions. BT
Guest Ryan Hanisco Posted July 14, 2007 Posted July 14, 2007 RE: Only allow certain domain users access I would create a security policy that restricts logon to that machine to a specific set of users. You could so this as a local security policy or a filtered GPO for just that machine. I generally favor centrally managed solutions, so I'd stick with the GPO, but there are benefits in restricting access even when the domain isn't available. -- Ryan Hanisco MCSE, MCTS: SQL 2005, Project+ Chicago, IL Remember: Marking helpful answers helps everyone find the info they need quickly.
