Guest Grantjo Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Hi There I have a Windows 2003 server who's TermService appear to be hung. Basically one can not TS to the box. When I query the service it says its is running. SERVICE_NAME: TermService TYPE : 20 WIN32_SHARE_PROCESS STATE : 4 RUNNING (NOT_STOPPABLE,NOT_PAUSABLE,IGNORES_SHUTDOWN) WIN32_EXIT_CODE : 0 (0x0) SERVICE_EXIT_CODE : 0 (0x0) CHECKPOINT : 0x0 WAIT_HINT : 0x0 I am unable to stop or restart the server. If I look at the service in Computer Management the options to restart and stop are greyed out. Any ideas how to resolve this without having to restart the server?
