Guest Neil Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Re: Added TS licenses on a DC get Event ID 201 Hi Helge, Thanks for your reply. Here is the information. Guest Vera Noest [MVP] Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 Re: Added TS licenses on a DC get Event ID 201 That warning comes from the License Logging Service for the OS (server CALs), not Terminal Services CALs. Assuming that you run W2K or 2003 on your DC, disable the License Logging Service altogether. This is the default on 2003 SP1. Documented here: 824196 - Description of the License Logging Service in Windows Server Operating Systems http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=824196 WARNING: do *not* disable the License Logging Service if your DC runs SBS! In all cases, you must make sure that you have a server CAL for every client / user. _________________________________________________________ Vera Noest MCSE, CCEA, Microsoft MVP - Terminal Server TS troubleshooting: http://ts.veranoest.net ___ please respond in newsgroup, NOT by private email ___ =?Utf-8?B?TmVpbA==?= <Neil@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote on 05 jul 2007 in microsoft.public.windows.terminal_services: > Hi Helge, > > Thanks for your reply.
