Guest Ben Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 We are in the process of planning a migration to a new domain due to a corproate restructure. We currenly have a TS license server in domain A and need to move it to domain B. Are there any issues with changing the domain membership of this server? Thanks. Ben
Guest Vera Noest [MVP] Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 Re: Move TS lincese server to a new domain It could have implications for the discovery of the TS Licensing Server by the Terminal Servers. Details depend on which OS (W2K or 2003) the TS are running, and if the LS is installed as Domain or Enterprise LS. Auto discovery problems can be solved by pointing your Terminal Servers to the new FQDN of your TS LS. 279561 - How to Override the License Server Discovery Process in Windows Server 2003 Terminal Services http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=279561 239107 - Establishing Preferred Windows 2000 Terminal Services License Server http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=239107 _________________________________________________________ Vera Noest MCSE, CCEA, Microsoft MVP - Terminal Server TS troubleshooting: http://ts.veranoest.net ___ please respond in newsgroup, NOT by private email ___ "Ben" <NOSAPM@Yahoo.com> wrote on 06 jul 2007 in microsoft.public.windows.terminal_services: > We are in the process of planning a migration to a new domain > due to a corproate restructure.
