Guest joe.scholefield@gmail.com Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 I know this is a topic that has had a lot of discussion, but I am really just trying to get a couple of answers here. I've read through and done the things in this article: http://blogs.msdn.com/ts/archive/2007/01/22/vista-remote-desktop-connection-authentication-faq.aspx I still have the following problems: Windows XP user trying to connect to a Windows Terminal Server 2000 using RDC6. Saved shortcut for RDC had a stored username, domain, and password which worked perfectly up until we upgraded to RDC6 through Windows Update. I was told we can click on the "Add Credentials" button to save users' credentials to the machine so they don't have to login, but this isn't even an option, it just doesn't appear. Also, when I type in the DOMAIN\username and password and click the Save button, it does not save. Any suggestions?
