Guest Joe Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 Question: We have a TS licensing server & TS server in our west coast forest and would like to add a TS to our east coast forest. Do we need a seperate licensing server in the east coast forest or should we be able to use our current west coast licensing server? Both forest are AD and there is a trust relationship. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Guest Helge Klein Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 Re: Win2003 Licensing Server install That is not quite correct. See: http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B905687&x=9&y=10 Prior to W2k3 SP2 the forest trust had to support Kerberos. Beginning with SP2 the trust can also be external (NTLM). I hope this helps.
