Guest Martin Murray Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 I can play back a DVD using Intervideo DVD player that came with my Fujitsu N6010, but I can't play one back in Windows Media Player. What could cause this? Thanks in advance, Martin Murray

Guest Martin Murray Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 Re: Can't play back DVD in Windows Media Player It complains that the screen res is too deep and to adjust it or the colors, but that makes no sense to me as Intervideo works fine. <happymac.support@gmail.com> wrote in message news:1184536814.375012.149410@m37g2000prh.googlegroups.com... > On Jul 15, 1:01 pm, "Martin Murray" <em...@martinmurray.com> wrote: >> I can play back a DVD using Intervideo DVD player that came with my >> Fujitsu >> N6010, but I can't play one back in Windows Media Player. Guest Martin Murray Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 Re: Can't play back DVD in Windows Media Player Good article. The only stpe I've tried so far is to uninstall/reinstall the Intervideo software and drivers. That did not help at all. Guest Martin Murray Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 Re: Can't play back DVD in Windows Media Player There seem to be lots of MPEG2 decoders available. Got a preference? What could cause this? Not having the proper codex for WMP. Guest Martin Murray Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 Re: Can't play back DVD in Windows Media Player Never fixed the problem, but WinDVD playback looks very good to me.
