Guest Andrew_White Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 I have one user defined on the machine, say "myprofile," defined as an administrative user. Until recently when I logged on the machine booted up directly to the desktop without offering me any logon screen or any need to choose users. Then last week I briefly experimented with having different users, making user myprofile to be limited - this and that. I abandoned all these changes in the end end, and went back to just how things were. However, Windows now presents a logon screen with a choice between myprofile and the default "administrator" user. This is completely un-necessary. Is there any way to get rid of it, and boot up as myprofile by default? (There are no passwords.) Many thanks Andrew White

If it is a blank password, click OK.
