Guest Latsh Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Hi. I'm using "Wireless Intellimouse Explorer" with "Intellipoint 4.1" software. Every time I start the computer, I have to run "dplaunch.exe Mouse CPL" and exit without doing anything in order for re-assigned buttons to work. When I open the mouse program, the button assignments are as I set them, but they won't work untill I exit. Then all is well until next re-boot. Thanks in advance. Latsh NJ

After reboot go into control panel | mouse and setup your buttons again. 5.4 was a final v5 driver, it was stable and solid. the latest v6 drivers have extra baggage for newer mice that you do not need/want.

I'll just stay with 4.1 because other vrsions won't let me assign "Alt + Tab" to one of the buttons. Later, Latsh NJ

But the "next window" setting does pretty much the same thing. Whatever, if you're happy then fine...
