Guest Nick Cooper Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 Is there a way to map a folder on a remote machine so that it looks like a desktop folder (i.e. so that it appear in the Explorer 'folders' pane on the same level as 'My Documents' and 'My Computer'?) Thanks

Guest Nick Cooper Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 RE: Mapping a folder on a remote machine onto the desktop But this just locates the folder beneath My Computer. Do you know of any way to create a folder on the _same level_ as My Computer? In the wizard that pops up, hit next, select "Choose another network location", and type the path or browse for the folder you want. I'm not sure if this is what you want, but I think it is.
