Guest jim evans Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 As a result of some problems I was having a couple of weeks ago I installed XP on top of my existing installation trying to correct the problems. It seems like this fixed the problem, but now many updates won't install. XP downoads the updates then when it tries to install them it comes back with a very long list (50-60) updates saying they could not be installed. Every day when I start the computer it downloads them all again and again fails to install them. What's this all about and how do I get it to install the updates? jim
