Guest Markus Kolbeck Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 Hi all, does anybody know a way to increase the number of RDP listeners on a WTS (by default it's only one)? TIA Markus

You need to add additional NIC to your server, then use tscc.msc to create rdp-tcp connection (listener) on that NIC. Can you please tell us why do you want to add more listener? Guest Markus Kolbeck Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 Re: Numer of listeners Hi Soo Kuan, thanks for the reply. Under W2K it was possible to increase the registry Key IdleWinStationPoolCount under HKEY\LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server in order to change the number of idle-listeners. This sped up TS user logons in case many simultanious connections would occur. Unfortunately, under W2K3 this registry key does not have any influence anymore.
