Guest himshah Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 Is there a way to activate RDP host on Home Premium? i Purchase new Vista with Media Center and now find out that I cannot host Remote Desktop. I was able to do it with XP Media Center.

I will revert back to XP and next time get MAC. Guest Mahesh Lotlikar [MS] Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 Re: Vista Home Premium Just to make sure I understand what is "so terrible". - If it is about not having remote desktop feature with MCE - then the answer is Ultimate edition - it supports both remote desktop as well as MCE. - If it is about not having remote desktop on Home Premium - XP Home did not have remote desktop either. MCE did have it, but then MCE + Remote desktop are part of Ultimate edition. MCE on Home Premium was probably targetted for home entertainment, where people may not use remote desktop.
