Guest Jason Sands Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 Somehow my NTLDR got hosed and I am trying to boot with a CD. I remember getting it to correctly work before but now cannot get it to work. I followed the instructions at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/305595 on how to make the floppy. I used WinImage to create boot.ima. I fired up Nero and made a CD-ROM boot disk, choosing the above .ima. I used expert settings, the first CD I used no emulation and the second disk I used 1.44 emulation. Neither one will boot. I have the following files on my floppy when I image it: boot.ini ntldr ntdetect.com I have added an additional line in the boot.ini so I will be able to see the menu if and when the CD boots.
