IE 6 Advanced settings

I am trying to disable "Warn if changing between secure and not secure mode"

and the "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" options in Advanced internet

settings. I am able to uncheck the boxes and click apply however next time i

go into advanced settings they are rechecked.

I am using windows xp professional SP2 on a domain connected to Small

business server 2003.

I have tried changing the values in the registry and local policy. Could it

be a group policy option on the server that is making them re check? if so

does anyone know how to change the group policy to stop it, i have tried the

allow mixed content and do not save encrypted files options, it seems to work

then they re apply, the pop up is getting really annoying now.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you

Re: IE 6 Advanced settings

It could be a GPO, yes, or...

One or more options/settings in an ever-growing number of third-party

applications may be disallowing the change(s) from "sticking". These include

but are not limited to Ad-aware's Ad-Watch, Spybot Tea Timer,

SpywareBlaster, SpySweeper, Spyware Doctor, Norton AntiVirus, McAfee

VirusScan and/or Antispyware, and Zone Alarm (Free and Pro).
