Guest happymac.support@gmail.com Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 Hi, I am running Windows XP Pro SP2. I notice that in Event Viewer, every time my computer is started, within 3 seconds, there are many of these errors. However, the errors only come up when my computer is started and occur for 3 seconds only. Here is the log of the error: Event Type: Warning Event Source: Disk Event Category: None Event ID: 51 Date: 7/17/2007 Time: 7:58:44 AM User: N/A Computer: PC Description: An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk0\D during a paging operation. It would appear that Drive D may be suspect. Run chkdsk /f on Drive D (or 4th partition on the Master HD). Also run diagnostics on the entire hard drive with a test program from the HD's manufacturer. And back up all important files.
