Guest Alberto de Oliveira Alves Filho Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Hello, I have reinstalled my Windows XP and I have noticed that when I restart it (after putting it to "sleep" - I don´t know the proper world in english) some of the Desktop Icons change their positions (and sometimes leaving empty spaces where they where before), and I have to put them where I left them before. How can I solve this problem? I´m waiting for your feedback. Thanks in advance.
Guest Rishi Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 Re: Why the Icons of the Desktop change their position? Hello, Try right clicking on your desktop > View > Uncheck 'Auto Arrange'. This will stop the icons from automatically getting arranged, if that indeed was the problem. Hope this helps. -- Regards, Rishi email: rishi@vista-news.com | web: http://vista-news.com "Alberto de Oliveira Alves Filho" <albertoalves@estadao.com.br> wrote in message news:u7apPphyHHA.2224@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... > Hello, > > I have reinstalled my Windows XP and I have noticed that when I restart it > (after putting it to "sleep" - I don´t know the proper world in english) > some of the Desktop Icons change their positions (and sometimes leaving > empty spaces where they where before), and I have to put them where I left > them before. > How can I solve this problem? > I´m waiting for your feedback. > > Thanks in advance. >
