Hi,

I'm suffering the memory issue describe here:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/905865/en-us

this problem just starts on my server yesterday after I upgrade it from 8Gb

to 12Gb of RAM.

I have 2 * AMD dual core Opteron server.

Windows 2003 x64 installed (R1 not the R2)

and the SP2 is installed.

any idea?

thanks.

Jerome.

ho...

I have found that the issue appear to be related to virtual server and not

to the logon process!

every time I starts a virtual machine the memory of the application drops!

so I'll ask the virtual server newsgroup...

Some people have said there is a special driver you need for this

processor, maybe this is the problem.

Since this occurred after install of additional memory, could it be a faulty

ram stick? Perhaps your ram supplier can supply you with a software test

for it or another piece to swap out. Sounds too basic a solution, i know,

but somtimes the simplest solutions are the correct ones.
