If you mean the Show Desktop icon that goes on the QuickLaunch Bar: Copy/paste the below into notepad, then click file/"save as" and call it "show desktop.scf" and drop it on the desktop. You can drag it from there to the QuickLaunch bar. [shell] Command=2 IconFile=EXPLORER.EXE,3 [Taskbar] Command=ToggleDesktop Malke -- Elephant Boy Computers http://www.elephantboycomputers.com "Don't Panic!" MS-MVP Windows - Shell/User

If that's the case I got this from the Microsoft site: 1. If the Quick Launch bar is not displayed, right-click an empty area on the taskbar and click Properties. 2. On the Taskbar tab, under Taskbar appearance, select the Show Quick Launch check box and click OK.

You can enable it by right clickinging taskbar > Toolbars > Tick "Quick Launch". or - Press Windows Key+D or - Press Windows Key+M (minimize windows only) Good Luck, Ayush. -- XP-Tips [Log in to Built-In administrator account ] : http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/tips/advanced/adminaccount.mspx
