Guest Rishi Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 Re: IPX on XP Home Hello, Yes, it is infact possible to use the IPX protocol on Windows XP Home, if you really have to. Please refer to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/814987 on how to use it. Most networks that use IPX are usually business networks/organizations and in that too most have multiprotocol networks with TCP/IP and IPX/SPX. I've never seen anyone one wanting to use IPX on a XP Home machine, most people just stick to the default TCP/IP. Anyways, the knowledge base article should help you out. -- Regards, Rishi email: rishi@vista-news.com | web: http://vista-news.com <Hi.Aiyaya@gmail.com> wrote in message news:1184896235.741567.303340@z24g2000prh.googlegroups.com... > Dear all > I have a question on IPX protocol. > Is it possible to use ipx protocol on WindowsXP Home Edition? > Is there any suggestion? > thanx a lot. >
