For unknown reason, the remote desktop for a Windows 2003 Server is greyed

out.

I have searched the web and find someone get it fixed via setting

HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\TerminalServer\FDenyTSConnections

Set DWord to 0

However, I have checked the registry and it is already set to 0.

Is there any suggestion ?

Re: Remote Desktop is greyed out

It could be a Group Policy setting, so check that.

Yep....if so, running rsop.msc should help find it.

Dear Martin,

The Windows 2003 is not in a domain and it is in a workgroup (as we are

still running Novell).

Besides, under which item in the group policy should I look into ?

Thanks

Peter
