Folder contents in Explorer not visible

Hello,

I habe local Administrator Rights on this Windows Server 2003,

Terminal Server.

There is a local drive F: which contains quite a few subfolders and

files, also a folder called temp.

When I navigate to this folder (f:\temp) then the right pane is

completely empty.

However when I specify a subfolder of f:\temp directly (f:\temp\ksd) I

can see its files.

This is also true at the commandline:

F:\Temp>dir

Volume in drive F is SMUC0001_F_W2003

Volume Serial Number is D06E-605A

Directory of F:\Temp

20.07.2007 11:27 <DIR> .

File Not Found

F:\Temp>cd ksd

F:\Temp\ksd>dir

Volume in drive F is SMUC0001_F_W2003

Volume Serial Number is D06E-605A

Directory of F:\Temp\ksd

24.11.2006 17:19 <DIR> .

24.11.2006 17:19 <DIR> ..

24.11.2006 17:19 <DIR> FileInterface

12.06.2007 11:25 <DIR> IN

12.06.2007 11:25 <DIR> OUT

27.10.2006 15:29 162.165 TY01.DAT

1 File(s) 162.165 bytes

5 Dir(s) 50.109.042.688 bytes free

F:\Temp\ksd>

I never had this occur in any of my windows servers. It is very

strange.

Would somebody know advice?

Actually, I feel Microsoft should fix it since this is a major error

in its major operating system

Sincerely

Andreas

RE: Folder contents in Explorer not visible

I know this sounds obvious but I have to ask, are the folders set to hidden?

You could check with the "attrib" when in the folder at a command prompt. Or

change your settings in folder options to allow viewing of hidden files and

folders.

Brian
