Guest Nigel A Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 When connecting (for example) a digital camera Windows has a program which automatically kicks-in to facilitate the images being transferred to the computer. For some reason this has stopped working on my PC. Presumably by some means the program has become corrupted and need re-installing, or something like that. In the meantime it is neccessary to use Explorer and whilst this will work it is more time consuming. Please advise how to resolve this issue and many thanks in advance for any help.

Before reinstalling the camera software, try this. Plug in the camera, open My Computer, right-click the camera, click Properties, click Autoplay tab, see if the application associated with the camera is mentioned in "Select an option to perform" list, and select the action if available. -- Joe =o)
