Guest Cast-it Admin Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 I'm running XP Home SP2 and all updates installed, no virus activity or malware (according to Norton AV, Spyware Doctor, or Spybot). Ican get usenetnet and emails but..... All of a sudden, yesterday when I launched Internet Explorer 7 - nothing! the little circle just keeps wizzing round on the tab that is trying to open my homepage (google). I can't get any web page, nor can I get Windows update. I also tried going into advanced options and clicking reset, but again, nothing it tries to loaded the runonce page but never get anyware. I use Zonealarm for a firewall but there's no problem with that it permits IE, I even disable ZA just to make sure. A total mystery!!!!! - any ideas PLEASE! Ron

Temporarily disable your security programs and see if any of them are blocking your internet access. Remember to enable them. -- c_edge
