How do I get the original > (default) font back? > Generally speaking, for menus, toolbars, dialog boxes, and status bars, the default font for Windows is Microsoft Sans Serif 8 point. Choosing a default theme (e.g., Windows XP, Windows Classic) will change fonts for all menu, dialogs, etc. back to default. Right-click the Desktop > "Properties" > "Themes" tab. Select a default theme. Click "Apply" button. If you customize a theme, save it. Then you can restore it by loading it back again. When a theme is saved it will then appear in the list of themes.
